As a science fiction series, Futurama does take some liberties with physics, space and time travel. After all, the show takes place in the 3000s, and as sci-fi fans know, half the fun of setting a series in the future is the ability to mess around with some of the universe's fundamental laws. However, despite this, Futurama has a pretty good track record in terms of adhering to accurate portrayals of mathematics and science. Still, that doesn't mean the series hasn't found a way to break at least one of the rules of existence, and it centers around mortality. Specifically, Futurama's universe has managed to cheat death.
