Dragon Ball Super effectively expands the series’ scope through the introduction of new celestial deities, a whole multiverse of competitors, different Dragon Balls, and unprecedented transformations. Dragon Ball tends to prioritize Goku and Vegeta’s accomplishments and they’re usually the characters who celebrate the biggest victories. That being said, Gohan has been a pivotal player ever since his debut in Dragon Ball Z’s first episode. Gohan’s potential and his ability to surpass his father’s strength has been teased as early as the fight against Raditz.
