At New York Comic-Con 2023, acclaimed comic book creator Geoff Johns announced the launch of the new company Ghost Machine, expanding his partnership with Image Comics. Several superstar comic book creators joined Johns to co-found the company. Ghost Machine features a number of titles scheduled to be launched throughout 2024, spanning a variety of genres, each with their own thrilling premise and creative team. The anthology special Ghost Machine #1 contains short stories and profiles spotlighting many of this first wave of stories and characters, unveiling new secrets and jumping-on points for established titles like Geiger and Junkyard Joe and announcing brand new titles, like Redcoat and Rook: Exodus.
