When Ron Marz took over the Silver Surfer title from legendary writer Jim Starlin, nobody expected the creator to become an invaluable piece of the character's legacy. But Marz continues to experiment with the character, even years later. In 2022, Marz reunited with artist Ron Lim for another cosmic adventure involving Norrin Radd and his trusty board in Silver Surfer Rebirth. That series saw the hero investigate the missing Reality Stone alongside Thanos, taking the unlikely pair across the cosmos. Now, that miniseries is getting a sequel -- continuing Silver Surfer's modern adventures through the past of the Marvel Universe. Written by Marz with pencils from Lim, inks from Don Ho, colors from Romulo Fajardo Jr., and letters from VC's Joe Sabino, Silver Surfer Rebirth: Legacy #1 is an effective feint, playing on the strengths of the creative team in surprising ways.
