The final episode of Ahsoka has prompted fans to share their theories and hopes for a potential Season 2 of the live-action Star Wars series, even though there has been no word of a renewal so far.
Episode 8 of Ahsoka, "The Jedi, the Witch, and the Warlord," proved to be an action-packed 49 minutes, leaving the audience with plenty to unpack after its emotional final scenes played out. It also sparked discussions about whether there will be a second season to continue the story and what fans would want to see from that.
Many fans took to social media to share their surprise over the lack of a renewal announcement following the finale. Even though we're less than 24 hours out from Season 1's conclusion, the general consensus seems to be "we need Season 2 now."

According to report from Deadline, there is a strong likelihood that Ahsoka will be back for another season, though nothing it locked in yet. The outlet further notes that the dual Hollywood strikes may have put production off for some time, with the writers' strike having ended just last week and the actors resuming negotiations with studios today.
With most fans hoping the series will get the greenlight for a second batch of episodes, people started to turn their attention to what they would like to see in a potential follow-up season. Some hope for a further exploration of Star Wars mythology, while others want to see another Ahsoka, Sabine, and Ezra reunion.

Season 2 was also a hot topic on Reddit. Several people hoped that additional episodes would tie up Baylan Skoll's quest after we left him at the statues of the Mortis Gods. One person wrote: "Would love to see Ahsoka S2 to cover what happens with her and Sabine going after recasted Baylon and shin and Ezra S1."
Another added: "My personal thought is that Ahsoka S2 will focus on the force Baylon feel & seeks and it will in the end make Ahsoka very powerful, then return to the 'main' galaxy and the movie can happen," and someone else chimed in: "I think Ahsoka's destiny is likely tied to Baylan's quest or dealing with the outcome of it."
Dave Filoni's Star Wars movie is a project that a lot of Star Wars fans are excited about. The big screen feature will tie together characters from Disney+ series such as The Mandalorian, The Book of Boba Fett, and Ahsoka, so it's well worth catching up on any titles you have missed and those that are yet to come.
The season finale of Ahsoka premiered on Oct. 3, bringing its eight-episode run to an end. IGN's review of Ahsoka Episode 8 called it an "excellent conclusion" that managed to "complete satisfying arcs for all its characters while still setting up a big cliffhanger," planting "seeds of hope amidst big threats for the galaxy."
