Netflix's live-action One Piece series did many things right as the first truly great live-action anime adaptation, from the main actors' great performances to the anime-accurate set pieces and costumes. The live-action series also paid tribute to many of the original One Piece anime's best fight scenes and memorable panels from the manga, but it didn't always translate well into live-action. One example was One Piece's habit of zooming in on facial features.
