Console exclusivity has become a real area of contention among the fanbase. It's been an element of the console wars for a huge period of time and may continue to stick around for a while longer. Although there are some moves being made to break down the idea that some games can only be played on certain consoles, there's still a long way to go before the concept is removed altogether. PC gamers in particular have seen some of the benefits of that change in attitude, but just because there might be a crossover between a console and PC, it does not mean the collaboration goes beyond that.
