Sasuke Uchiha was a vengeful villain for a good chunk of the series, but he was Naruto's best friend, and he eventually saw the error of his ways. Throughout his misguided journey he trained consistently so he could reach his goal of one day defeating his brother Itachi. Sasuke eventually mastered Fire and Lightning Release, and he is a capable genjutsu user.
