Horror is an extremely elastic storytelling genre that’s able to reach even greater heights through television’s structural freedom. An anthology horror series used to be an occasional event, but they’ve gradually become the new normal and each network and streaming service has their own anthology series, horror or otherwise. Anthology horror series are great ways to consume easily digestible horror content instead of needing to commit to an entire season of television.
