The science fiction genre features countless movies acknowledged as some of the finest ever made, but for everyone that passes into the realm of classics, multiple excellent films fall by the wayside. One example is Andrew Niccol's Gattaca (1997), starring Ethan Hawke, Uma Thurman, and Jude Law. It's a brilliant film, but as time has passed, it's become less and less well-known.
