Today's daily deals for Wednesday, August 2 include preorder listings for the Spider-Man 2 PlayStation 5 console and controller, sales on the Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom game and Pro Controller, a deal on Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, and more. Check out these great deals and more below.

Preorder the PS5 Spider-Man 2 Limited Edition Console Bundle

Sony just recently announced the new PS5 Spider-Man 2 console bundle and it's finally up for preorder. Unlike any themed PS5 console bundle before it, the Spider-Man 2 bundle comes with a unique themed faceplate. Also included is the Spider-Man 2 game. The console ships out on September 1, but you'll get the game later on October 20, the same time as everyone else.

Preorder the PS5 Spider-Man 2 DualSense Controller

Equally popular, if not more so, is the themed DualSense controller. It's already sold out at multiple outlets like Amazon, but Best Buy still has it available for preorder right now. If you already own a PS5 console, pair this controller with the Spider-Man faceplate (which is sold out everywhere but will eventually come back in stock), and you'll have yourself a complete "Limited Edition" console without having to buy a new one.

BLACK SN850P 2TB Internal SSD for PlayStation 5 Is 48% Off

Three years in, the PlayStation 5 games are finally rolling out. We've got huge games with equally huge file sizes like Star Wars Jedi Survivor, Diablo 4, and more coming down the pipeline like Spider-Man 2. So, if you have a lot of ongoing games you don't want to delete, you need an SSD. Today only, you can add a whopping 2 terabytes to your PS5 for roughly 50% off. The BLACK SN850P 2TB Internal SSD includes a heatsink, and it's officially licensed for the PS5 console.

Get Tears of the Kingdom for Under $60

If you still haven't picked up The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, you can save 19% if you buy it today. Amazon has TotK for $56.94, which is a nice discount off of the original $69.99 price tag. And believe me -- you'll more than get your money's worth from this game. I'm still playing it nearly three months later, and I've racked up over 150 hours in Hyrule. And I still can't wait until the work day ends to hop right back in for more adventures.

The Tears of the Kingdom Pro Controller Is On Sale

The Tears of the Kingdom special edition pro controller was pretty hard to find when Zelda launched back in May. Well, you can get the Japanese version over on Amazon for $63.97. The packaging will be in Japanese, but the controllers are region free, so you can connect this to your North American Switch no problem.

Preorder the 8BitDo Retro Mechanical Keyboard

These awesome keyboards were just announced by 8Bitdo, and they replicate the color scheme from the Nintendo Entertainment System and its Japanese counterpart, the Famicom. The mechanical keyboards have 87 keys and super programmable buttons. They are perfect for any huge Nintendo fan, as the color scheme fits right in with that 80s nostalgia.

The Xbox Wireless Controller Stellar Shift Edition is $49.99

This galaxy-themed Xbox controller has a pretty sick color scheme, and it's on sale for $49.99 over at Walmart today. This controller works across console generations, as it works on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Windows. You can always use an extra controller, and this is a pretty great one to add to your Xbox lineup.

Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes Is the Lowest Price We've Seen

Fire Emblem Three Hopes is a great musou/Dynasty Warriors-style spin on the Fire Emblem formula, and this is the lowest price we've ever seen it. You can grab this Three Houses spinoff for $23.99 over at Best Buy today. The gameplay merges the frenetic hack-and-slash combat of the Dynasty Warriors series with the tactical, risk-reward strategic gameplay of the Fire Emblem series in a really fun way. If you're a fan of Three Houses, it's absolutely worth it to see that roster of characters used in an entirely new way.

Blue Yeti Professional Multi-Pattern USB Condenser Microphone

Blue Yeti is one of the best brands of USB microphones. I have one myself and I've been using it on my podcasts for years. Today, you can get the high-end Blue Yeti Professional mic for $20 off. It connects to your PC via USB, and has multiple recording patterns, making it suitable for recording alone, with a co-host, or an entire room.

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor on Xbox is $49

Star Wars Jedi Survivor is one of the best games of 2023, and you can get it on sale for Xbox Series X today. The Xbox version costs $49, which is a nice discount off the $70 MSRP. This game picks up the story of Cal Kestis and the rest of the crew after the events of Fallen Order, and it adds a ton of new planets, combat styles, and more to the formula.

The Legend of Zelda Complete Box Set Is 37% Off

Did you know that there's a manga adaptation of The Legend of Zelda, and Link talks in it? The Legend of Zelda Complete Box Set includes the manga adaptations of a handful of The Legend of Zelda games: Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask, A Link to the Past, Four Swords, The Minish Cap, Phantom Hourglass, Oracle of Seasons, and Oracle of Ages. These manga are a really fun way to experience the stories of The Legend of Zelda through a whole new perspective, and if you're still riding that Tears of the Kingdom high, this is a great way to satisfy any lingering Zelda craving.

$500 off Epson Home Cinema 5050UB 4K PRO-UHD 3-Chip LCD Projector

The Epson 5050UB is, in my opinion, the best projector you'll find for under $3K. In fact, it's close to the best projector you'll find under $4K. The 5050UB was released way back in 2019, but up until now no 4K projector in its price range has been able to match its incredible black levels and contrast ratio. In a properly light-controlled room, it's indistinguishable from a premium TV. The 2-way shifted 4K resolution is also really good... not quite native 4K but a big step up in sharpness compared to 1080p. It's also flexible in terms of setup thanks to its generous horizontal and vertical motorized lens shift. It's rarely discounted (in fact early last year it was hard to even find one in stock) so snap this one up quick.

75" Sony X90K 4K Full Array LED TV for $1398

The A80K is marketed as a gaming TV and is host to several welcome gaming-centric features. It has a true 120Hz panel and two HDMI 2.1 ports for running 4K at 120Hz on a PS5, Xbox Series X, or RTX 30 series equipped PC. There's also native variable refresh rate (VRR) and auto low latency mode (ALLM). Exclusive to higher end Sony TVs like this one is a feature catered specifically for the PS5 console called Auto HDR Tone Mapping. Basically your PS5 will be able to identify your exact TV model and apply the optimized HDR settings specific to your TV, a sort of automatic HDR color calibration if you will. It takes out a lot of tweaking involved on your end (which most people tend to ignore completely) and thus offers a better HDR image.

Up to $600 Off 2023 TCL QM8 4K Mini LED QLED TVs

HDMI 2.1 for 4K @ 120Hz

The new 2023 TCL QM8 TV boasts a combination of a QLED and Mini-LED panel with full array LED backlighting, local dimming, and wide color gamut. The QLED panel enables this TV to retain strong color accuracy and good dynamic range even at peak brightness levels. The local dimming feature allows different zones to dim or brighten independent of each other, thus allowing the TV to deftly handle scenes where the brightest whites and the darkest blacks occur simultaneously. Mini LED panels allow for even more precising local dimming because the controller zones are smaller and more numerous. Whereas a normal LCD TV with local dimming might have as many as 100 zones of dimming, the TCL QM8 boasts a whopping 2,300 zones. These TVs also offer incredibly high brightness levels, way brighter than any OLED TV. This is a better TV for use in TVs with a lot of sunlight coming into the room and little light control.

The TCL QM8 also has gamers covered. It features a native 120Hz panel and two HDMI 2.1 inputs. That means it can pass true 4K @ 120Hz on PS5 and Xbox Series X consoles and RTX 30 series equipped gaming PCs. The TCL R646 also supports VRR with Game Accelerator 240 (up to 240Hz refresh rate at 1080p), ALLM, and AMD FreeSync Pro.

Alienware Aurora RTX 3070 Gaming PC From $1149.99

As part of the Dell Black Friday in July Sale, you can get either the Alienware Aurora R13 Intel RTX 3070 gaming PC for only $1149.99. It features a liquid cooled Intel Core i7-12700F CPU, 16GB of DDR5-4400MHz RAM, 1TB SSD, and powered by a 1000W 80PLUS Platinum power supply.

The RTX 3070 might be a generation old but it's still no slouch. It's faster than RTX 2080 Ti. Compared to the new RTX 40 series GPUs, the 3070 is neck and neck with the RTX 4060 Ti. This is a great card for running games at at up to 1440p. It's also great for running games at 1080p but with higher refresh rates that so many gaming monitors support these days, like 144Hz or even 240Hz.

Alienware m17 R5 17" AMD Ryzen 9 6900HX RTX 3070 Ti Laptop for $1250

As part of its Black Friday in July event, Dell is offering the Alienware m17 R5 17" AMD Ryzen 9 6900HX gaming laptop with RTX 3070 Ti video card for only $1249.99 after a massive $1000 in instant savings. The GeForce RTX 3070 Ti provides plenty of muscle on the GPU front. Among the RTX 30 series mobile cards, it's only slightly less powerful than the RTX 3080. Compared to desktop variants, it's roughly comparable to the RTX 3060. It's capable of running any game out there on the display's native 1080p resolution and at over 60fps, which is nice because the display is capable of refresh rates of up to 480Hz and, fortunately, is G-SYNC certified.

4-Pack Apple AirTags for $84.99

Amazon is currently offering a four pack of Apple AirTags keyfinders for only $84.99. You're essentially paying only $21.25 per keyfinder. That's 15% off MSRP and better than Amazon Prime Day. The Apple Airtag is a small coin shaped device that you can put in your wallet or attach to your phones, keys, remote, or anything small enough to be easily misplaced. It works as a little WiFi keyfinder that helps you locate your lost objects by pinging the exact location to your iPhone. The AirTag uses Bluetooth 5.0 to pinpoint a general location of your lost item. However, if your iPhone model has a U1 chip with Ultra Wideband, there is a "Precision Finding" mode that can give you a numerical distance as well as a directional pointer when your lost item is in range. It's a pretty awesome piece of tech that works a lot better than "it's here somewhere".

Alienware Aurora R14 RTX 3060 Gaming PC for $999.99

As part of the Dell Black Friday in July Sale, Dell is offering an Alienware Aurora R14 gaming PC equipped with an AMD Ryzen 7 5800 CPU and GeForce RTX 3060 GPU for only $999.99. Currently this is the least expensive Alienware Aurora PC you can get. The RTX 3060 isn't the most powerful GPU out there, but it's also certainly no slouch; its performance is superior to the RTX 2060 SUPER and almost matches the RTX 2070 SUPER in some games. That means it's perfectly capable of handling pretty much any game out there at 1080p resolution. Depending on what you play, this rig can also do 1440p gaming.
