The second part of Doom Patrol's mid-season premiere, the eighth from the Max original series' fourth and final season, is the strongest installment of the dual-episode return after a lengthy hiatus. Titled "Fame Patrol," the episode places the superhero team back in the real world and face-to-face with the season's primary antagonist, Immortus. With the scope heightened and the team needing to rally one more time to defeat this new supervillain and save the day, "Fame Patrol" feels like Doom Patrol getting back to business and doing what it does best as it begins the march to its finale.
