For all you budget TV shoppers, Walmart has just released two of the best TV deals we've seen for Black Friday. You can get a 2024 Hisense R6-series 4K Roku TV in two sizes: a 55" model for $178 or a massive 85" model for $549. Both TVs are the least expensive in their size class and they even come with Roku streaming baked in. These deals are part of the Walmart Black Friday Sale that launched on Monday November 25.
Walmart, however, isn't the only retailer with great budget TV options. Target and Best Buy also have some great deals on TVs that might be a better fit for you depending on your needs. However, if you're looking for a a high-end TV with fancy features like 120Hz or HDMI 2.1, then you've come to the wrong place. Check out my more encompassing Best Black Friday TV Deals article to see what the best deals are right now on OLED TVs and gaming TVs for PS5 or Xbox.
55" Hisense R6 4K Roku TV for $178
The entry-level Hisense R6-series 4K smart TV offers a limited set of features in exchange for a rock bottom price. Don't expect this TV to be decked out with the latest cutting-edge technology, however what you'll get is a native 4K TV that works out of the box and still offers solid image quality that will satisfy most TV watchers. It has built-in speakers and Roku smart TV baked in. Roku is actually our favorite streaming hub because of its intuitive interface.
55" Hisense R6 4K Roku TV for $548
If you have space to accommodate a much larger TV and you're looking for an excuse to fill up all that wall space, then this Black Friday deal should be a convincing argument. Walmart is offering the massive 85" version of its entry-level Hisense R6 4K Roku TV for - get this - $548. There are certainly better gaming TVs out there, but you'll have to pay hundreds (or even thousands) more for a TV this size.
75" Westinghouse 4K Roku TV for $399.99
The Target Black Friday Sale is also live, and there are two TVs that are worth consider for any budget shopper. Target has slashed the price on this 75" Westinghouse 4K Roku TV down to $399.99 after a $100 instant discount. That makes it one of the least expensive 75" TVs we've seen so far. Like the Hisense R6, this TV boasts the intuitive Roku smart TV interface for immediate out-of-the-box enjoyment.
65" Hisense 4K Smart TV for $254.99
Target's second TV deal is this H65" Hisense A6 Xumo TV for $255 shipped. Again, this is one of the least expensive 65" TV deals we've seen so far and has a good chance of staying that way. This Hisense TV uses the uncommon Xumo TV smart interface. I'm sure it's pretty simple to use, although I haven't tried it out myself. If you would rather use a smart interface that's more familliar to you, you can pick up a Fire TV Stick 4K for $21.99 or a Roku Ultra LT for $34.
55" TCL F35-Series 4K Fire TV
Best Buy has its own Black Friday Sale going on with the most TV deals of any retailer at the moment. The best deal for budget shoppers right now is this 55" Insignia F50 4K Fire TV for $179.99, making it comparable in price to Walmart's Hisense 55" TV deal. The difference is that the Insignia F50 uses Amazon Fire TV instead of Roku. Choose your TV depending on which streaming interface you prefer. Insignia is Best Buy's house brand and this TV lineup is generally priced well below what most mainstream TV manufacturers can compete against.
