Haunted Mansion -- Directed by Justin Simien with a Screenplay by Katie Dippold -- takes a new approach to the classic Disney attraction of the same name. Largely set in the ghost-infested building, the film focuses on the handful of unfortunate figures who find themselves caught in the orbit of a particularly dangerous fiend. The film blends a lot of tenors across its run-time, befitting an original ride that incorporated plenty of humor and horror to create something timeless.
