True Detective is an anthology crime drama where every season has new detectives investigating a new case. When season one started the show off in 2014, viewers were amazed by how tight the writing was and how creepy the crime was. No season has matched True Detective's first in quality. The characters of Rust Cohle (Matthew McConaughey) and Marty Hart (Woody Harrelson) were just as intriguing as two mismatched detectives, as well as Cohle's unsettling life philosophies.
