Batman/Superman: World's Finest has been a breath of fresh air for the DC Universe and comics in general. Hearkening back to somewhat simpler times, it features a Batman and Superman duo who aren't at odds with each other and are instead true friends. The next arc of the series is set to change that by looking at an iconic dark future from a classic "Elseworlds" comic. In doing so, it can actually bring some much-needed depth to that story's world.
