The Fall Guy, starring Ryan Gosling and Emily Blunt, is making the jump to digital platforms tomorrow, just over two weeks after the film debuted in theaters.

Universal Pictures announced on X/Twitter that The Fall Guy is getting its digital release tomorrow, May 21, meaning people can join in on the action at home. The film will also come with an extended cut that includes 20 minutes of never-before-seen footage, which likely means more stunts, spectacle, and star screen time.

The Fall Guy has seemingly had its digital release fast-tracked by the studio, as the film only opened in theaters a little over two weeks ago, on May 3. However, despite mostly positive reviews from critics, the film has underperformed at the box office, bringing in $27.7 million on its opening weekend in the U.S. and Canada.

Box Office Mojo statistics reveal that, as of now, The Fall Guy has grossed $63 million in the U.S. and Canada and $64.6 million in other territories, for a worldwide total of $127.6 million, which, according to Variety, is against a production budget of $140 million (used in part to execute some of the film's record-breaking stunts).

The Fall Guy tells the story of Colt Seavers (Ryan Gosling), a battle-scarred stuntman who, having left the business to focus on both his physical and mental health after an accident, is drafted back into service when the star of a mega-budget studio movie - being directed by his ex, Jody Moreno (Emily Blunt) - goes missing.

The film comes from David Leitch, a real-life stuntman and director of action blockbusters like Bullet Train and Deadpool 2, working off a screenplay written by Drew Pearce, loosely based on the 1980s TV series of the same name. The cast also features Hannah Waddingham, Teresa Palmer, Stephanie Hsu, and Winston Duke.

IGN called The Fall Guy a "perfect vehicle for Ryan Gosling's comedic timing – not to mention his romantic charm alongside an equally dialed-in Emily Blunt."
