The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes' release date looms ever closer, and fans are growing more and more antsy. As the first visit to the world of Panem since Mockingjay - Part 2, it has massive shoes to fill. The first films were lauded as the standard to which all other teen dystopian movies should aspire to reach. They hold that title almost ten years after their initial release, and have higher rewatch value than other movies of the time, such as Divergent. Clearly, The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes has a lot to live up to. Luckily, it's starting to look like it's going to meet everyone's expectations, as Suzanne Collins claims that the film bears a remarkable resemblance to Catching Fire.
