This $2790 Alienware Aurora R16 is equipped with an Intel Core i7-14700F CPU, GeForce RTX 4090 GPU, 32GB of DDR5-5600MHz RAM, and a 2TB NVMe SSD. The i7-14700F CPU boasts a max clock of 5.4GHz with 20 cores, 38 threads, and a 33MB cache. It's cooled by a robust 240mm all-in-one liquid cooling system and powered by an energy efficient 1000W 80PLUS Platinum power supply.
The $2970 Alienware Aurora R16 upgrades the processor to an Intel Core i9-14900KF CPU. This is an unlocked chip with a max clock of 6GHz with 24 cores, 32 threads, and a 36MB cache. It's Intel's highest end CPU so it's great at both gaming and otherwise. Also, it's equipped with 64GB of DDR5-5600MHz RAM.
The current generation R16 chassis is 40% smaller in volume compared to previous iterations but also boasts better thermal management.
