The record-breaking GTA 6 trailer is packed full of details (IGN spotted 99!), but one that’s gone under the radar is a cool nod to Rockstar’s previous game.
First spotted by X/Twitter user @tempestGTA, the trailer contains a blink-and-you’ll miss it sticker on the store door Jason and Lucia kick in that looks exactly like Red Dead character Everett Morgan. That mustache silhouette is unmistakable!
Something you prob missed is that this Sticker in the #GTAVI Trailer looks very Similar to the #RDR2 Character Everett Morgan pic.twitter.com/zDPTcOizmv

You’d be forgiven for not recognising the character. Everett Morgan is a minor character and bounty target in Red Dead Online, and does not appear in Red Dead Redemption 2. In Red Dead Online, players can view a poster showing Morgan, who is wanted dead or alive for a train robbery and the death of a conductor. Naughty boy.
It’s a deep cut from Rockstar, but we shouldn’t be surprised. The developer is famed for its Easter eggs and hidden details, and there are still plenty of unresolved mysteries in its games. Is this innocuous sticker confirmation Red Dead and GTA are set in the same timeline? The mind boggles.
The GTA 6 trailer was awaited with bated breath from the gaming industry and finally arrived with plenty of classic Rockstar satire. The 90-second trailer featured a ton of intricate details, as we’ve mentioned, and plenty of references to wild and wacky real life events too. It also showed off GTA 6's dual protagonists, Jason and Lucia, and the internet has already grown obsessed over the latter. The GTA 6 trailer has already surpassed predecessor Grand Theft Auto 5's reveal trailer's views, reaching 101 million views in less than two days. It’s now the most-viewed video game reveal on YouTube over a 24 hour period, and the most viewed non-music video on YouTube in 24 hours.
