The MSI Codex R is equipped with an Intel Core i5-13400F CPU, GeForce RTX 4060 8GB GPU, 16GB of DDR5 RAM, and a 1TB NVMe SSD. The latest Intel Core i5-13400F Raptor Lake CPU has a max turbo clock speed of 4.6GHz with 10 cores, 16 threads, and 20MB cache. This is an excellent multi-tasking chip and performs equally as well as the i7-13700 CPU in gaming. The "F" in 13400F simply means that the chip doesn't have onboard graphics (iGPU). That won't matter if you have a discrete GPU, which in this case is the RTX 4060.
The RTX 4060 is considerably more powerful than the RTX 3060 and almost nearly matches the RTX 3060 Ti. I would recommend this card for comfortable 1080p gaming although you can also run games at 1440p with relaxed graphic settings. Because it's a current generation card, the RTX 4060 supports the newer DLSS 3.0 and 3.5 tech. It gives you a very nice framerate boost compared to equivalent AMD cards without sacrificing visual quality for games that support it, like the new Cyberpunk: Phantom Liberty DLC.
