Further expanding the survival thriller genre is The Dive, which plunges its characters completely underwater. This remake of the 2020 film Breaking Surface centers on two sisters -- one of whom is trapped in the depths of the sea after rocks from a nearby landslide render her unconscious. With limited time and limited air, her sibling must find a way to extract her without drowning herself.
