The late Tom Wilkinson was an actor of extraordinary talent and range, able to play a wide array of characters in movies of dramatically different tones. He's perhaps best known for the hit comedy The Full Monty, and he often did quite well with lighter or funnier roles, even in the copious array of straight dramas he made. His resume includes horror, blockbuster actions, and science fiction among the historical biopics and high-end human-condition stories that marked his best work. While he wasn't well-known for villains, he delivered his share with the requisite flair and memorable qualities that marked all of his characters. Amid them all, it's easy to lose track of one of his most impressive performances: Carmine Falcone in Christopher Nolan's Batman Begins.
