The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom's vast open world expands upon everything that made its predecessor so great. In turn, it set the bar for open-world games by giving players the freedom to explore a rewarding environment that encouraged experimentation and creativity. Although a lot of the game's charm and hidden gems come from randomly exploring, sometimes it's preferable to fast-travel to a location via the game's Shrines, Skyview Towers and Lightroots.
