Upon release, our Scott Pilgrim Takes Off review gave the show a 9/10, stating that it's "a breathtaking reimagining of Bryan Lee O’Malley’s graphic novels." We also explained that it's "a fresh coat of paint on a versatile coming-of-age story, whose vibrant animation and expanded scope bring new dimensions to the garage rockers, video-store clerks, ninja-couriers, and evil exes who inhabit “Toronto, Canada – Not Too Long Ago.” Unfortunately, there are no plans for a second season of the show, but regardless, Scott Pilgrim Takes Off is still a fun one to rewatch if you're a Netflix subscriber.
