The finale for Ahsoka on Disney+ did the job it was supposed to do. The character's stories mostly reached natural endings. The finale also set up future stories in the Star Wars universe. However, the way the series did, it offers lessons and warnings all serial franchises with shared continuity should consider. While setting up the future of the universe is essential, it's equally vital each installment delivers a satisfying and complete story.
