Daisy Ridley will return to Star Wars as Rey Skywalker in order to train a new generation of Jedi. The New Jedi Order movie was confirmed to be in development at Lucasfilm earlier in 2023 at Star Wars Celebration Europe. The film is one of three upcoming Star Wars titles being developed for the big screen and will be the first canon live-action project set after the events of Star Wars: Episode IX - The Rise of Skywalker.
