Riot Games has revealed the first teaser trailer for Arcane Season 2, its popular animated series based on League of Legends. It's very brief, but it does seem to confirm a major fan theory from Season 1.
The 44-second trailer features Singed, who is seemingly in the midst of a blood transfusion. He checks a pocketwatch and then looks up, with the camera revealing a massive beast hanging above him. Fade to black and that's it for our first trailer for Arcane Season 2.

The trailer seems to confirm the persistent fan theory that Vander, a popular character who dies in Arcane Season 1, is in fact Warwick, a monster from League of Legends "transformed by agonizing experiments." League of Legends took note of the similarities between Vander's storyline and Warwick's lore and quickly drew connections between the two. Now it seems like Warwick will be a big part of Arcane Season 2.
How will Vi and Jinx react to learning that their protector is now a monster? Will Arcane reimagine Warwick? It seems like Arcane Season 2 has plenty of intriguing questions for fans.

For now, Riot Games is keeping its cards close to its vest. The press release reveals no plot details beyond once again confirming that Hailee Steinfeld (Vi), Ella Purnell (Jinx) and Katie Leung (Caitlyn Kiramman) will reprise their voice roles. Additional voice casting is "to be announced."
If Arcane Season 2 lives up to the first season, it should be a hit. We were seriously impressed by Arcane's debut, awarding it a 10 in our review. It went on to win an Emmy for Best Animated Program.
Arcane Season 2 will be arriving on Netflix in 2024, but fans will have to wait a bit longer. It's currently slated for release in November. For more, check out all the most exciting upcoming shows of 2024.
