It has been 13 years since the release of Remedy Entertainment's Alan Wake, and it would be easy for modern gaming audiences to write off a sequel released in 2023, especially with the 2019 release of one of Remedy's best titles, Control. However, Alan Wake II excels in every way and it's too much of a masterpiece to ignore, a true gem for survival horror fans and gamers of all stripes.
