The Hunger Games franchise is most known for protagonist Katniss Everdeen, with secondary main character Peeta Mellark also being almost as popular. The mentor for these two, however, was just as vital to the story, especially when it came to forging Katniss into the beloved "girl on fire." Much of this applied acumen came from personal experience with the Hunger Games, though there was obviously a large degree of tragedy in this knowledge.
