Doctor Doom, notorious Marvel supervillain and apparent paragon of vanity, is coming to Fortnite as part of the live-service shooter’s Marvel-themed season.
Doctor Doom is part of the battle pass skins for Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 4, aptly titled “Absolute Doom.” As with the likes Geralt of Rivia, Solid Snake, and Indiana Jones from seasons past, the Doctor Doom skin won’t be available until halfway through the season.
Here’s when Doctor Doom will release in Fortnite.
When does Doctor Doom release in Fortnite?
Doctor Doom will be released on an unspecified date in September — around the season’s midway point — according to developer Epic Games.
When it does become available, to get Doctor Doom in Fortnite, you first must buy the Chapter 5 Season 4 battle pass, which is available to progress until 2 a.m. ET on Nov. 2, 2024.
And as with all midseason skins, you’ll need to complete a set of challenges to unlock the Doctor Doom (and the various alternate styles associated with the skin).
