The world of DC Comics has fallen into mayhem. The actions of a manipulative cult released the Necrostar, infecting the world with deadly spores. Garfield Logan, aka Beast Boy, came up with a risky plan to stop the cosmic menace, which paid off–at first. But things took a dark turn when Beast Boy, assuming Starro's form, had his mind overtaken and corrupted. Now Garro is sending out spores of his own, transforming the most powerful heroes and villains into mutated, animalistic beasts.
