As 2023 winds to a close, all eyes are on what's coming up in the new year. Comic book fans will be thrilled to learn that Ram V - IGN's winner of the Best Comic Book Writer of 2020 award - is helming a new sci-fi series at Dark Horse called Dawnrunner. Better still, it's one right up the alley of Neon Genesis Evangelion and Pacific Rim lovers.

Dawnrunner is co-created by V and artist Evan Cagle. The creative team also includes colorist Dave Stewart and letterer Aditya Bidikar. The first issue features covers by Cagle, Matias Bergara, Dike Ruan and Tula Lotay.

Dawnrunner is a five-issue limited series. The first issue is priced at $4.99 and is scheduled for release on March 20, 2024.
