Oscar Isaac thinks there is "an interesting opportunity" for Moon Knight to appear as a member of the Midnight Suns in a future Marvel project.

Isaac headlined the celebrity line-up at the recent Middle East Film and Comic Con (MEFCC), where event organisers opened the floor to questions. X/Twitter user @GeekHouseShow quizzed Isaac about his next appearance as Moon Knight, to which the actor proposed the idea of his character teaming up with other heroes.

"I thought there was an interesting opportunity with Midnight Suns," Isaac said. "There's such interesting characters in there, and now that we've set the groundwork with learning who Marc [Spector], Steven [Grant], Jake [Lockley] are, it could be an interesting opportunity to see him as part of a team and what that dynamic would be. So I think that would be exciting, I think, for me, I definitely hope there's some room to explore that possibility."

An official Marvel explainer positions the Midnight Suns as the supernatural protectors of the universe, fending off hellish threats from demons, zombies, and more. The team's various comic book incarnations have featured the likes of Ghost Rider, Morbius, and Blade, along with Moon Knight, assembling for missions.

Isaac starred as Marc Spector's vigilante persona (and his various other alters) in the Disney+ series Moon Knight in 2022. There has been "no official word" on the show being renewed for a second season, though Isaac was hopeful Marvel would pick it up for another run, especially since the series ended on a cliffhanger.

Lead director Mohamed Diab previously said it would be "a waste" for the story to end where it was left, but had no clue if a follow-up would be another season, a film, or a crossover of some sort. His comments mirror those from Ethan Hawke, who told IGN the show "functions as a limited series" but could be "the origin of a larger thing."

IGN awarded Moon Knight's first season 8/10, acknowledging that it presents a "massive platter of out-there ideas" but that it "succeeds more than it stalls," with Isaac serving as a "confident centerpiece" who manages to deliver the goods as "a tired man with a splintered mind trying to dig himself out of a horrible hole."
