There's a lot in the air as far as fans are concerned when it comes to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The plans for the Multiverse Saga don't seem to be as concrete as things were with the preceding Infinity Saga. This is one of several reasons why audience engagement is waning. There's reportedly a Hail Mary being taken into consideration for another Avengers movie, but this plan might not be for the best.
