Wonka is the newest addition to the Wonka series and shows the origin story of Willy Wonka and his notorious chocolate factory. Director Paul King, also known for his successful Paddington franchise, created Wonka in combination with Warner Bros. and gives fans a fresh perspective on the character Willy Wonka and his life story. Since its release in December 2023, Wonka has amassed a huge viewership — and even harsher criticism.
