My Hero Academia has been going strong since 2014 and, supposedly, should soon be reaching its conclusion with the current arc of the manga. The ending of such a long-lasting and epic story brings a lot of feelings out in people. This particular ending is no exception either. There have been lots of opinions on this arc that have ranged across the spectrum from praise to contempt. It has a mirror for other large-scale events in media that also draw a ton of mixed reactions.
