Every sci-fi fan has their favorite starship, but even folks who aren't Star Trek fans recognize the USS Enterprise is a beautiful ship. Designed by Matt Jefferies in the 1960s, almost every "hero" ship in the franchise does not veer too far from the visual vocabulary Jefferies established. Beyond just the fandom, artists and NASA scientists, all adore the elegant beauty of the Enterprise.
