Nintendo has finally provided a date and time for its June Direct, which is set for Tuesday, June 18th at 7am PT / 10am ET.

The company announced that it would hold a digital showcase in June of last month. Nintendo also tempered expectations, stating that this upcoming showcase would focus on games headed to its hybrid game console in the latter half of this year. Additionally, this showcase was previously confirmed not to include any reveal of the console rumored to succeed the Nintendo Switch.
While we do not know what is on the Switch slate for the second half of this year, at the last Nintendo Direct, some games we know confirmed to release on Switch in 2025 include Pokémon Legends: Z-A and Professor Layton and the New World of Steam. Additionally, Retro Studios is currently working on Metroid Prime 4, which has not had any further updates since its initial reveal at E3 2017 over year years ago.
Of course, there will likely be some third-party announcements at the Direct. With Microsoft inking a 10-year deal with Nintendo to bring Call of Duty to Switch, some theorize the first Call of Duty game(s) may be revealed at the digital showcase. Meanwhile fans of The House of the Dead franchise speculate that a remake of the second game may appear at tomorrow's Nintedo Direct, as last week, Gematsu spotted an official Pan European Game Information (PEGI) rating for The House of the Dead 2 Remake.
Nintendo is the last of the big three home gaming console makers to hold a summer showcase previewing the slate for the remainder of the year. PlayStation and Xbox followed in their footsteps, holding digital showcases on May 30th and June 9th, respectively.
