Video game remasters aren't always necessary, especially in this day and age when many games that receive them already look and perform great. They're often seen as little more than a cash grab and therefore leave a sour taste in the mouths of the gaming community at large, as gamers want to know they can trust video game developers to have their best interest at heart. Fortunately, Disney Software's 27-year-old platformer Gargoyles is one of those titles that without a doubt needed a remaster, and it has received one that perfectly embodies the original in Empty Clip Studios' Gargoyles Remastered.
