At times paranoid, Batman doesn't trust anyone, not even his many partners or "friends," as flimsy as that term's meaning tends to be for him. In the famous "Tower of Babel" story arc, later loosely adapted to animation in Justice League: Doom, it's revealed that Batman had developed plans to incapacitate every member of the Justice League in the event any of them turned rogue, using his first-hand knowledge of the teammates' weaknesses.
