There is quite a charm to watching detective anime, especially old-school shows that are purely about solving mysteries and, hopefully, proving the authorities wrong about underestimating the main character who solved said mysteries. While watching one detective anime after the other can be quite mentally exhausting, a good mystery is worth the amount of time and emotions that fans invest in them.
