2023 was a weird year for cinema in that many proven properties simply fell flat at the box office. The once bullet-proof superhero movies got shredded and other tentpole franchises fell completely flat. While many of those films had their share of problems, there were a few that deserved a better fate. The 2023 box office offered no security for mighty franchises and beloved characters. Yet, some of these box office flops deserve a second chance from audiences.
