Netflix has revealed all the cast members starring in Wednesday Season 2, which is currently filming in Ireland.

The official X/Twitter account for Netflix dropped a cast photo with the news that Season 2 is now in production. The snap features several familiar faces and a few newcomers, such as Steve Buscemi, Billie Piper, Evie Templeton, Owen Painter, and Noah Taylor, who, according to Variety, are onboard as series regulars.

The guest star line-up includes Joanna Lumley, Thandiwe Newton, Frances O'Connor, Haley Joel Osment, Heather Matarazzo, Joonas Suotamo, and Christopher Lloyd, who starred as Uncle Fester in the 1991 Addams Family film and its 1993 sequel before Fred Armisen took over the role for Wednesday's debut season.

Armisen is reportedly returning for the show's sophomore season alongside Emma Myers, Joy Sunday, Hunter Doohan, Victor Dorobantu, Moosa Mostafa, and Georgie Farmer, as Catherine Zeta-Jones, Luis Guzmán, Isaac Ordonez, and Luyanda Unati Lewis-Nyawo get upped to series regulars for the second season.

A video posted on X/Twitter also confirmed that the first episode of Season 2, Chapter One: Here We Woe Again, is written by Alfred Gough and Miles Millar, with Tim Burton in the director's chair. The Thing features in the teaser (literally) handing out scripts to the cast, revealing some of the new characters appearing this time.

Those new characters include Grandmama (Joanna Lumley), Capri (Billie Piper), Dr. Fairburn (Thandwie Newton, and Barry Dort (Steve Buscemi). If past reports are anything to go by, Dort will step in as the new principal of Nevermore Academy, taking the reins from Gwendoline Christie, who previously filled the position.

Percy Hynes White, who played student Xavier Thorpe in Wednesday's first season, does not appear to have enrolled on the cast for Season 2. His absence, however, follows allegations of sexual misconduct, which became public on social media last year, but he decried the accusations as part of a "campaign of misinformation."

Further details about the second season, such as a release date, have yet to be revealed, but we do know that it will focus more on horror and less on romance. Jenna Ortega, who plays the titular character, also teased earlier this year that Wednesday's next outing is "bigger," with each episode feeling "more like a movie."
