Klaus, Elijah, Rebekah, Kol, and Finn were inarguably some of the best elements of The Vampire Diaries. They were so beloved that showrunners ended up creating a whole new show, The Originals, to tell the story of the first vampires, and fans loved that. The Originals moved the Original vampires from Mystic Falls to New Orleans, which used to be their home turf.
