Ryan Gosling and Mikey Day attended The Fall Guy premiere dressed as Beavis and Butt-Head, following on from their viral Saturday Night Live (SNL) sketch in April.
Red carpets are typically known for their glitz and glamour, but Gosling and Day opted for a casual look when they turned up together at the Los Angeles premiere of The Fall Guy on Tuesday night. That's because the duo were spoofing the beloved cartoon characters Beavis and Butt-Head from the hit '90s adult animated series.
Gosling, who had made an earlier appearance on the carpet wearing a mint green suit, donned a blonde wig with a prosthetic nose and a blue "Death Rock" T-shirt for his second outing alongside Day, who posed with a bucktoothed, nonchalant expression whilst showing off his grey "Skull" T-shirt, replicating their looks from SNL.
The two stars debuted their interpretations of the comedy characters during a sketch on SNL in April. The skit saw Heidi Gardner play a news anchor interviewing a professor, portrayed by Kenan Thompson, about artificial intelligence, who kept getting distracted by the Beavis and Butt-Head lookalikes in the audience.

When Gosling isn't cosplaying as Beavis, he fills his time by taking on a variety of acting roles, with his most recent turn as Hollywood stunt performer Colt Seavers coming to the big screen when The Fall Guy releases on May 3. If the trailers are anything to go by, you can expect romance, drama, and space cowboys.
The Fall Guy premiered at the 2024 SXSW Film Festival in March. IGN's review of the movie called it "a self-reflexive love letter to Hollywood stunt work," which serves as "the perfect vehicle for Ryan Gosling's comedic timing – not to mention his romantic charm alongside an equally dialed-in Emily Blunt."
