Ahsoka has been a treat for long-time fans and newcomers alike, as the series has managed to push the animated universe and live-action projects closer together. While characters from Star Wars Rebels were the first big surprise, it was Hayden Christensen's return as Anakin Skywalker that solidified the union between animation and live-action as the live-action version of Anakin finally met his animated apprentice. But by opening doors with these reveals, it's also made subtle connections much more evident in hindsight.
