We've finally gotten our first look at Apple TV+'s second season of Severance, but unfortunately, we're still awaiting a release date.

The couple of clips debuted during the Apple TV+ portion of WWDC 2024 and though brief, they do give us a little hint at where we might find Adam Scott's Mark Scout character when Severance does return. One clip, at the beginning of the video below, has Mark re-entering Lumon, with Tramell Tillman's Milchick telling him, "Welcome back. Been a minute."

The other short clip, which comes in around the 0:42 mark of the video, shows Mark in various work outfits on the table in Lumon, and then running through the hallways of the building. It doesn't actually give us all that much context, but hey, it's something.

Apple TV+ also dropped a fresh image of Season 2, showing Mark holding his welcome balloons.

Severance was only one of a number of projects that were shown off during the video, which also includes looks at new series Dark Matter, Presumed Innocent, Bad Monkey, and Lady in the Lake; new films Fly Me to the Moon, Wolfs, and The Instigators; and returning series Pacinko, Silo, Slow Horses, and Shrinking.

Severance was renewed for a second season ahead of its Season 1 finale back in April 2022, but it's been awhile since we've got a solid update on it. It was one of many shows to be affected by last year's writers' strike, and fans were relieved to see it re-entered production in January.

When it does return, it will be with a bunch of new big names, including including Game of Thrones' Gwendoline Christie, Bob Balaban, and more, in addition to returning players like Scott, Patricia Arquette, John Turturro, and others. In the meantime, check out our 9/10 review of Severance Season 1, as well as our roundup of everything announced at WWDC 2024.
