The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes is the next entry in the popular movie series, which itself is based on the novel franchise from Suzanne Collins. Adapting the 2020 prequel book, The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes takes a look at the series' Districts before the time of Katniss Everdeen. Unfortunately, this narrative placement may be one of the reasons why the movie is seeing a less than hot anticipation.
