Even though several recent shounen hit shows receive a lot of hate for being Naruto knockoffs, the audience still craves more action-packed, try-till-you-die stories. Written and illustrated by Gege Akutami, Jujutsu Kaisen is one of Mappa's shining achievements. For diehard fans of The Big Three, it's a difficult task for any shonen anime with the same theme to rise to the occasion. Fortunately, Jujutsu Kaisen was able to take the viewers by storm with its Big Three-inspired theme and unique approach to the genre.
